I'm guessing M.I.B. had something to do with where I got this idea from... but I don't know for sure. Random doodle became pen drawing, became digital lineart, became coloring-without-a-tablet excercise.

EDIT: It has been brought to my attention that the genius Bobby Chiu (imaginism) has had a take on this idea before, like way back in 2009. Please check his Death of Teddy. It blows to find out this has been done before and in such a similar -if not identical- fashion, but oh well...
